​UMASS Graduating Class of 2000

Senior co-captain, the most improved player in the conference his Junior year season when he nearly tripled his scoring and rebounding numbers. Finished his Junior year season with a flurry averaging 18.1 points and 9.7 rebounds in the final seven games of the season. 

AS A JUNIOR IN 1998-99: Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for Feb. 22nd. Started 22 of 30 games. Averaged 10.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game and against Atlantic 10 foes, averaged 12.9 points and 8.4 rebounds in regular season conference games. Ranked first in the Atlantic 10 in offensive rebounds, fifth in total rebounds and 10th in defensive rebounds, for statistics including conference games only. Had seven double-doubles on the season. Led the team in steals 15 times, in rebounds 11 times, and in scoring six times.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 1997-98: Appeared in 31 games (all but Fresno State), averaging 3.6 points and 2.4 rebounds in 13.5 minutes. Averaged 4.8 points and 2.9 rebounds in Atlantic 10 game. Had his first career double-double with a season-high 13 points and 10 rebounds while playing 27 minutes vs. La Salle.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 1996-97: Averaged 1.2 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. Played in 19 games off the bench. Had five points in eight minutes of action in win at La Salle; completed a three-point play followed by a dunk, both with less than six minutes to play to help UMass preserve the win.

STO ROX HIGH SCHOOL

Averaged 25.9 points and 13.1 rebounds per game during his senior year. Earned Western Pennsylvania Player of the Year and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Player of the Year honors as a senior.  Posted 20.0 points and 14.7 rebounds in his junior season, while leading Sto Rox to the Western Pennsylvania Championship.
